Thank you for your interest in partnering with GISCorps.
GISCorps matches volunteer GIS professionals with nonprofit organizations, non-governmental organizations, public entities, and professional associations to provide short-term GIS support and services when those organizations cannot afford to pay for these services. GISCorps’ volunteers typically work on projects 5-7 hours per week for 2-3 months.
GISCorps also occasionally supports government agencies, social enterprises, or businesses undertaking a project for urgent disaster response or humanitarian purposes when the work cannot be accomplished by other means. GISCorps reserves the right to determine an organization’s eligibility for volunteer support.

Ready to submit a request for short-term volunteer GIS support for your project?
Requesting GISCorps volunteers is a two-step process:
- First, sign up as a Partner Organization by submitting the form below. You’ll only do this once. If you’ve partnered with GISCorps in the past, go straight to Step 2.
- Submit a Volunteer Request questionnaire. This form is specific to your current project; you can submit the Volunteer Request questionnaire multiple times as the need arises.
