Thank you for your interest in working with GISCorps volunteers.

GISCorps provides volunteer GIS professionals to public entities, nonprofit organizations, non-governmental organizations, and professional associations. GISCorps also occasionally supports organizations operating under a social business model or undertaking a project for humanitarian purposes rather than for profit.

When you’re ready to request one or more volunteers, please submit the following form as completely as possible so we can better understand your needs.  You should receive a confirmation email upon submission of the form. We will contact you once we review the project to further discuss the details. Thank you for your interest in GISCorps volunteers!

Agency Information

Will your organization provide any of the following to the volunteer?

Thank you for your interest.

Please note that the activities of GISCorps are possible thanks to volunteer work, in-kind services, grants, donations and contributions (excluding software and hardware) as defined by our Organizing Principles and Policies. GISCorps volunteers and the GISCorps Core Committee are not paid for their services.

We understand that the vast majority of the organizations requesting our help cannot afford professional services and GISCorps volunteer services do not require payment. However, at the conclusion of the mission we do ask partner agencies to consider making a voluntary affordable donation to GISCorps to help pay for operating expenses such as web development and maintenance, communication materials, and administrative support. These donations help us continue helping others.
