Mapping public lands and trails in northern Alabama

The Land Trust of North Alabama offers more than 70 miles of public trails on more than 7,500 acres for you to relax, get some exercise, and connect with nature. Land Trust has seven Public Preserves in Madison County, Alabama.

Since 2009, I have provided trail and land management GIS, mapping, and data management for Land Trust properties. I have provided kiosk maps for all seven nature preserves. In addition to the public preserves, Land Trust owns or manages over 30 properties in northern Alabama. I have provided basic topographic and site maps for all these properties. As a GISCorps volunteer, I am able to continue this support.
