    What We Do:

GISCorps Operational Plan

Limitations and Rights:

a.      Any member of the public including Volunteers, FOGC, and PA can post information onto both databases (VDB & PDB), via two separate web based application forms.

b.      Upon submitting their information, Volunteers, FOGC, and PA are given a user name and a password only for the purpose of updating their own records.

c.      Only the CC members have browsing and editing privileges over both databases (VDB & PDB).

Case Operation:

a.      A new database entry from a PA will automatically send an email notification to the CC & EPSM members.

b.      EPSM conducts an evaluation of the project:

* If project is not in compliance with SP principles, EPSM marks it as unqualified in PDB and contacts the PA with a courtesy follow up letter.

* If project is in compliance with SP, EPSM marks it as qualified in PDB and will search the VDB to find the best candidate(s) for the new project.

* A list of the selected QVs is emailed to the PA and the selected QV(s) will also be copied on that email. Since both parties are now in contact with each other, the GC’s role ends at this point.

* The GC is not responsible for any costs or liabilities associated with the Volunteers’ mission.
